This week, Sunlabob is a featured exhibitor at AidEx 2013, an international humanitarian and development aid event held annually in Brussels, Belgium that brings together more than 2,000 professionals from government, the commercial sector and civil society.
The company is presenting, in particular, its portable renewable energy and water solutions including solar-powered lanterns and solar home systems used for off-grid lighting and cell phone charging, as well as solar-powered water pumping and purification technologies that are ideal for accessing clean water in rural areas.
“AidEx offers on-the-ground practitioners like Sunlabob a valuable opportunity to cultivate new networks and meet new customers that will facilitate the scale-up of electrification and water access in rural, impoverished areas,” said Andy Schroeter, CEO of Sunlabob.
Decision makers from international organizations such as the United Nations, the Red Cross and Oxfam are on hand, contributing to the dialogue about improving the efficiency and sustainability of aid.
Sunlabob is showcased in the Developing World Supplier Zone, a section of the exhibition dedicated to suppliers of aid products and services from developing regions to help them reach an international buying audience.
